Community Support Manager Adult Outpatient/Stafford Plaza Monday-Thursday; 7:
30am to 5:
30pm, Friday; 8am-12pm -Tuscaloosa, AL- Compentencies:

Ability to supervise Program Coordinators in provision of MI Services.
Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks.

In-depth knowledge of psychiatric illnesses.
Ability to follow DMH processes, requirements, and Standards Knowledgeable of cultural diversity.
Essential Functions/
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the delivery of care and services, productivity levels and assignments with the appropriate staff within each program while adhering to Medicaid and DMH Standards and requirements with the overall goal of client care and the prevention or diversion of hospital admissions and client relapse and recidivism.
Coordinate correction of productivity issues and performance problems with the appropriate staff within each program.
Ensure follow-up care of patients released to the community from State hospitals and DMHFs.
Track relapse rates and contributing factors.
Track no show rates and utilization of services within each program.
Ensure all safety, fire prevention, and health measures are followed while on duty.
Ensure coordination of expenditures within each program by communication with the various supervising staff in that program.
Advise Clinical Director regarding admissions/discharges, programmatic and clinical issues.
Provide all necessary data as required by the center and the state.
Provide consultation and evaluation services to staff and general public as assigned.
Provide clinical services, as assigned.
Other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.
Facilitate program review and development.
Develop a monitoring system to ensure that the program coordinators and staff are performing record reviews to maintain a high level of professional documentation and to ensure compliance with all standards.
Ensure that all assigned duties are implemented according to IRBH policies and procedures.
Ensure that all assigned duties are implemented according to DMH policies and standards.
Ensure all safety, fire prevention, and health measures are followed while on duty.
Prepare and verify documentation for State Site Visit.
Maintain communication and awareness of current Organization events by reading memos, emails, bulletin boards, and communication logs.
Support Organizational Code of Conduct, Standards Compliance, HIPAA and Security Programs by ensuring job tasks are performed in a legal and ethical manner, assessing the work area for non-compliance and notifying the supervisor, manager, Executive Director or designee as appropriate, and maintaining training requirements and understanding that training is a required condition of employment.
Maintain the confidential nature of all consumer and Organization related activities by not divulging information outside the facility, discussing information within the facility on a need-to-know basis, acknowledging policy annually by signing confidentiality statement, and by referring media and general inquiries to the Executive Director.
Adhere to attendance and punctuality policy by allowing adequate time to arrive, clock-in and assume responsibilities at designated time, adhering to meal and break times and making timely requests for annual leave and reporting the need for sick leave in accordance with policy.
Devote 40 hours per week to the completion of duties as outlined in the job description.
More than 40 hours of work per week may be required to meet job responsibilities and deadlines.
Comply with all standards related to safety and health by maintaining current TB Test, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and by reporting infections and on-the-job injuries in accordance with policy.
Identify opportunities for improving the quality of services provided by the department and the organization.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Executive Director.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
Master's Degree and/or LICSW/LPC in Behavioral Health field.
Or RN with Master's Degree in psych nursing and RN licensure.
LICSW or LPC preferred.
One year of supervisory experience required.
Two years post master's Mental Health experience required.
Current Alabama driver's license and good driving record as defined by Indian Rivers' policy.
Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.

Works in general office environment and in outpatient facilities; may require long hours.

Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to, computer, copier, multi-line phone and fax machine.
Some risk involved in the event of aggressive/out-of-control consumers.
Must possess a valid Alabama driver's license.
