AL License Minimum 2 years of experience required Must have a min imum of Level III Trauma experience Skills required:
Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Continuous IV Sedation, CVA, ICP Monitoring, Ortho-trauma, Respiratory/Thoracic, Shock/Trauma Experience and Triage Charting:
EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation ACLS BCLS PALS CPI, TNCC preferred Other Details:

Meditech Expanse Must pass cardiac exam during orientation First time travelers are accepted COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):
Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):

They are responsible for examining patients upon their arrival and carrying out triage tasks to assess their condition.
Ability to identify injuries, signs and symptoms, and communicate their assessment to the physician are required for the emergency room nurse.
A travel ER nurse assists in patient treatment and explaining prescription information to patient/family among other tasks and must know the facility and government policies as it relates to patient treatment, transfer, and discharge.
Educating the patient and their family about continued treatment at home is another task carried out by emergency room nurses before discharge.
