Qualifications:
Complete a criminal background check CPR/First Aid/TB skin test/Drug test DMV check Possess a valid driver's license Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation Assistance with Medication (will MAC certify on the job) Transport to doctor appointments and activities in the community Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues Experience Evidence of an interest in and ability to work with people.
Good grooming and personal hygiene are evident.
Past employment indicates dependability, the ability to follow directions, good judgment, and emotional maturity.
Willingness and ability to follow directions from supervision and training.
Ability to document daily activities in writing (English is required) and do simple math.
Ability to treat and care for individuals with disabilities and their property with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner Evidence of homemaking and cooking skills.
Responsibilities Builds strong relationships with other caregivers and clients/families.
Maintain accurate records of daily tasks in compliance with policy and procedure and the Service Plan.
Maintain communication with the supervisor and report emergency or problem situations immediately Job Types:
