Power Project Engineer -Tuscaloosa, AL - This person will lead electrical power related projects including but not limited to: equipment upgrades, power distribution, preventive maintenance, capital equipment justification and project planning, Arc Flash, Lock-out Tag out . Must work well in a collaborative team environment and have with solid technical background from the military, heavy industry (steel, paper, chemical, oil & gas, power, or related industry). Looking for motivated individuals to join a team oriented atmosphere. BSEE or BSEET desired or other technical degree or experience.
Responsibilities for the Power Engineer
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on motor control systems
Requirements for the Power Engineer
BSEE or BSEET desired but will consider other technical degrees and experience

years experience working as a EE in heavy industry or manufacturing
Must have strong electrical & mechanical aptitude
A work history leading and participating in electrical related projects
Experience with Protection and Control, Relays, Medium and high voltage highly desired
Experience giving direction to contractors and skilled trades on projects.
Experience calculating power requirements
Experience with Arc Flash studies is desirable
AutoCad experience desired
