This person is responsible to assists with coordination of technical activities related to all processes and products including test methodology, equipment purchases, and equipment calibration and repair. Responsibilities for the Chemist
Specifies and implements new test equipment
Responsible for lab equipment calibration programs
Assists with coordination of technical activities including test methodology, equipment purchases, equipment calibration and repair.
Control lab operating and capital expenses
Maintains lab equipment and assists with maintenance of computer system and testing equipment.
Requirements for the Chemist
BS degree in chemistry
Experience: Five or more years of heavy industrial lab experience (petroleum refining or petrochemical facilities)
Must have experience to recognize, troubleshoot and solve technical problems with analytical testing equipment
Must interact successfully with various internal and external clients
