Account Executive

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Account Executive executes sales strategy within their territory; initiates contact with manufacturing customers; identifies Customer needs and opportunities in a defined geographic territory; leads negotiations and coordinates decision-making process with Inside Sales; Becomes knowledgeable in manufacturing industry and provides accurate forecasts through reporting to management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Sell the organization's products and/or services to established customers and/or new prospects.Develops and delivers presentations; communicates company's value to customerFollows up with customers to ensure service issues are identified, understood and solvedInteracts and collaborates with Inside Sales to establish sales strategies specific to new and existing customers.Interacts with other sales team members to share leads, customer knowledge, and projects that cover multiple territoriesIdentifies manufacturers and parts suppliers; calls on prospective customers, determines needs and develops long-term customer relationshipsInitiates contact with manufacturing customers and develops relationships to generate referrals or leads for new business opportunitySolicits and maintains contact with current and prospect key accounts.Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status.Plan and coordinate client events.Collaborate with the Management to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals.Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group i.e. clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations.Assist in developing a budget and price estimate using standard models for business proposals.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support other Business Development Team members as needed.Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in business or other related discipline.1-2 years experience in Customer Service or sales related.Automotive experience is a plus but not required.The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally.Ability to travel on short notice.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
