Duties to include but not limited to:
Food preparation. Set up dishes, trays, napkins, condiments , and cold items such as salad, desserts. Remove dishes and trays from tables after meals. Sort, wash, peel, and cut fresh fruits and vegetables. Operate, break down, and clean all electrical equipment assigned to the area for food preparation. Clean kitchen equipment such as worktables, sinks, and refrigerators. Separate food waste and trash form dishes, glasses, and silverware in the dish washing area. Load and operate dishwashers and silverware washing machines. Store sanitized dishes, glasses, and silverware. Perform cleaning tasks in the food service area such as sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, cleaning windows and washing walls, and cleaning and sanitizing trash cans. Clean assigned work area. Perform other cleaning tasks, such as following a cleaning schedule. Portion food for distribution. Work on the tray assembly line. Clean and sanitizes work area and equipment. Complete training as required, and attends required training. Demonstrates principles of food safety in all aspect of work. Communicates effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and dietitians. Experience:
A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume. Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards. SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT:
Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, which usually appears as question 1 in the on-line questionnaire. Those applicants who appear to possess at least the minimal acceptable qualification requirement are considered for further rating; those who do not are rated ineligible and are eliminated. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Note:
A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
