As an IT Specialist (Application Software), you will perform the following duties:
Coordinate with the Office of Central Processing Operations & Maintenance (OCP/O&M) Team to support delivery of all Community Hydrologic Prediction System (CHPS) packages to the River Forecast Centers (RFCs). Lead consultations with customers about beta testing of enhanced software, including instructing and advising customers on key requirements such as to identify bugs, necessary enhancements, suggested upgrades, and how to incorporate these changes into the software. Oversee the interface between OCP/O&M Release Manager and Content Manager to verify deliverables for quality and completeness. Experience:
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. This experience need not have been in the federal government.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. In addition to meeting the IT Competencies above, applicants must also possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience MUST include all of the following:
Reviewing, testing and implementing new or enhanced software applications; and Advising on new technologies for software development.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
