Carpenter

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Plans and layout work independently Determines and use the correct methods, equipment and materials to complete job assignments at the journeyman level using working practices, Independently completes preventive maintenance for maintenance and repair shop as assigned and establishing and adhering to inspection intervals and procedures. Utilizes professional judgement in choosing, interpreting or adapting available guidelines to specific issues or subjects. Assemble, construct, install, modify, crate, repair or remove interior and exterior items consisting of wood, metal, plastic, fiberglass, etc. Install, modify, repair and maintain the upkeep of the facility. Establishes and maintains records on all repairs and materials attributable to carpentry equipment. Maintains key records and cut keys from codes. Maintains and operates tools and equipment of the carpenter, locksmith trades. Duplicate keys, pick locks and master keys lock cylinder. Works on equipment such as drill press, router, saws, belt sander, bench grinder, glass cutting rack, hammers, screwdrivers, framing square, code key cutting machine, electric MITRE saw, table saw, and other tools and devices used for functioning and operation purposes. Utilizes appropriate methods and materials to construct objects, structures and buildings. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule:

Experience:
A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume. Physical Requirements:
The incumbent is frequently required to walk, bend, climb, stoop, stand, work overhead and in cramped positions for long periods of time while performing duties. He/she is required to lift equipment and materials weighing over 50 lbs. Working Conditions:
The incumbent's work is done inside and outside and is often dirty, dusty, noisy, hot and cold. The working conditions are such that the incumbent must be mindful of safety requirements, since there are the possibilities of cuts, burns, scrapes, falls and other physical impairments. The incumbent may work in confined areas such as crawl spaces and attics which may be dusty and dirty. They are required to use protective devices such as ear plugs, safety glasses, respirators and gloves.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
